Using energy consciously
Sustainable by tradition
For over 25 years, we have heated our property with wood chips from the surrounding forests – a regional, renewable, and eco-friendly energy source. We were also the first house in the village to install a photovoltaic system, harnessing the power of the sun.
Sustainability shapes our everyday operations: guests choose how often towels and rooms are serviced; we avoid single-use products, reduce plastic, and separate waste carefully. Heating and lighting throughout the house are efficiently managed.
For renovation work, we rely on natural materials: wool carpets in the corridors and wood from our own forest for the façade, terraces, and much of the furniture.
