Sustainable by tradition
For over 25 years we have heated our house with wood chips from the surrounding forests – local and renewable. As the first house in the village, we also rely on solar energy with our own photovoltaic system. Sustainability shapes our daily routine: guests decide on towel changes and room cleaning, we avoid single-use products, reduce plastic and separate waste carefully. Heating and lighting are energy-efficiently controlled throughout the house.
During renovations we use natural materials such as sheep’s wool carpets and wood from our own forest.
